Day 19: Identify your three favorite ways to spend time and allow yourself an hour to do one of them. Make your soul happy.
The Blurb: On this Super Bowl Sunday you can check this one off easily… IF watching football is one of your top three favorite things to do. If not…. you’d better hustle!
Although today’s focus is similar to to ME TIME or INDULGE IN YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE, it’s not the same. Maybe your favorite things involve other people. Or maybe it involves no one but yourself. You can add limitations to this if you’d like because I don’t want you feeling guilty about your choices. For example, you could add a caveat:
My top three favorite things…
…without leaving my house
…without spending any money
…excluding time with my family (because I’ve already spent time with them today)
…that I don’t normally get to do
…on my own
Do whatever works for you. I just want to to spend some time thinking about the things that make you feel the most invigorated about life and allow yourself a guilt free hour to do it. I love the thought of taking the time to do what makes your soul happy. I think that perfectly sums up today’s focus.
Suggestions: Since your top three things are personalized to you, I’ll let you figure them out. They should be things that speak to your soul and make you feel lighter.
Keeping It Real: You can do this one- it’s fun and easy. Just be careful not to let guilt crowd your hour. The whole idea behind this project leading up to Valentines Day is to learn how to carve out time to refill your bucket, to become whole, to heal, to grow. You deserve this time! Take it!
Photo of the Day: I love love love reading but with everything I have going on, it’s rare that I actually get to SIT DOWN and read. I’m kind of addicted to audiobooks right now. But tonight I’m making my soul happy by enjoying this book called An Unfamiliar Murder, by Jane Isaac.
I hope you revel in your hour today. Don’t miss out tomorrow when you get to participate in a Random Act of Kindness!
If you missed anything, you can get caught up HERE. See below for the breakdown of the “30 Days to Love Yourself Project.” You can still jump in any time!
Have a good one!
