I mentioned before that I am obsessed with the entire season of FALL. So, let us begin the series in which I share bits of my obsession with all of you! I’ll just do little random posts here and there when I do something fall-ish so you can fall in love with the Fall- with me!
Today I made fresh peach shakes with peaches I picked from my tree!! It’s really easy and DELICIOUS!
5-8 cubes of ice
2-4 scoops of Protein powder- I used Herbalife Vanilla (I have an amazing Herbalife contact if you would like to try the kind I love)
1-2 peaches (depending on size)
nutmeg & cinnamon to taste
enough Milk to cover ingredients
Blend… and savor!
One of my other favorite shakes in the fall tastes like chai, but doesn’t actually have chai in it. My girls call this the “Fall Shake,” because it basically tastes like you blended up fall and served it in a glass!
Chai Flavored Shake
5-8 cubes of Ice
1/2 banana (or sometimes 1 if you’re making it for more than one serving)
2 scoops protein powder
a shake-shake-shake cinnamon & nutmeg
a small pinch (do you like my exact measurements??) cloves (BE CAREFUL here, if you add too much, it will taste bitter, but this is a very important ingredient!)
dash of pepper
enough milk to cover ingredients
Blend and enjoy… FALL-IN-A-CUP
Another FALL recipe we have already been enjoying is Peach Cobbler– made super easy with this Bisquick Recipe. I don’t add the sugar into the peaches though because they are just so sweet this time of year. I always end up playing with the amount of bisquick-milk ratio so that its a little thicker than pancake batter and I place dollops of it on top of the peaches and until it’s mostly covered. When its cooked and hot, I pair it with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. This is a great way to start easing into the fall… nothing like a little delicious family treat when it starts cooling down at night.
